Peter O'Brien FCA
Peter is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Austalia and New Zealand with considerable experience in professional practice. Prior to becoming a founding partner in O'B&P in 1980, he was engaged in audit with an internationally affiliated partnership then spent many years in the field of tax minimization with a boutique tax specialist group.
During his career, Peter has concurrently served as a corporate advisor and acted as a director for both public and private companies.
He has managed a variety of existing businesses for clients and established green field business projects in manufacturing, hospitality, property and childcare.
Peter has wide-ranging experience in taxation, superannuation and commercial matters.
Sylvia Gu CA
Sylvia is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand with considerable experience in the accounting profession. She has been a partner in the firm for in excess of 10 years.
Sylvia heads up the Taxation Services section of the practice where her experience and capabilities in the fields of taxation planning, advice and legislative interpretation are a cornerstone of the practice's tax consultancy.
Sylvia is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and Hokkien and assists foreign domiciled, ex pat and migration clients with state and federal tax and business planning.
